FC Cincinnati will host English club Burnley FC for an international friendly on July 10 at 7:30 p.m. at TQL Stadium. This match represents the continued evolution of FC Cincinnati, said President & Co-CEO Jeff Berding. Ten summers ago, in our inaugural season, we welcomed our first English football team to a sold-out Nippert Stadium. It is time to bring British football back to the Queen City and showcase our club, our atmosphere and our city on a global stage. The friendly comes as a tune-up for when the MLS season resumes on July 22. FC Cincinnati will face the Vancouver Whitecaps at home. J.J. Watt's wife is a minority investor in Burnley FC, and she and her husband are looking forward to welcoming the club to the states.
