FC Cincinnati has collaborated with Cincinnati Bengals center Ted Karras for a special, limited-edition 513 Day hat. The hat will be released on May 6 and will benefit Karras' organization, the Cincy Hat Foundation, as well as the FC Cincinnati Foundation. The FC Cincinnati Foundation focuses on improving the lives of children through soccer and community initiatives. Karras will also serve as the pre-match 'sword puller' when FC Cincinnati hosts Inter Miami CF at TQL Stadium. He worked out with FCC defender Nick Hagglund ahead of the collab. Hagglund, a Cincinnati native and Xavier University alum, said the collaboration is a 'fun crossover of Cincinnati sports and two incredible charities.' The limited-edition hat will be sold on fccgo.com May 6 at 7 p.m. The hats will be available for pickup at the FC Cincinnati team stores in TQL Stadium and Over-the-Rhine starting May 13. Limited quantities will also be up for grabs in the stadium's team store during match day against Inter Miami on May 13. The hats will not be restocked, so get them while you can. 513 Day is an unofficial holiday in Cincinnati, as May, the fifth month of the year, combined with the 13th, makes the numbers 513, the area code encompassing Hamilton County and parts of Butler, Warren and Clermont counties.
